God Answers.
Me: I feel so ugly, fat, and worthless..
God: You're beautiful, the perfect size, and you mean everything to me.
Me: I'm just so worried, and I can't sleep.. I'm exhausted.
God: Give me all your problems, and I will give you rest.
Me: I'm dirty, rotten, and I'll never be able to fix my mistakes.
God: I forgive you, I accept you. Come, I will give you freedom from your past!
Me: I can't do this anymore! My heart is broken.. I give up.
God: Hand me every piece of your heart, and I promise I will fix it.
Me: Nobody ever notices me.. I just wish someone cared.
God: I notice everything, and nobody will ever care about you like I do.
Me: Nobody loves me, and they never will!
God: I died for you, and have loved you with an everlasting love.
When life gets you down.
Just because you’re a Christian doesnt mean life is any easier. Accepting God into your life doesnt give you a “get out of anything bad free card”. We all still have bad days, we all still have stresses, and we all still have hard times we have to get through. But what being a Christian does do for you is give you a loving, concerned, amazing God who wants to talk to you. Wants you to tell him whats wrong. Who wants you to pray to him, trust in him, and follow him through these hard times.
Trust in God to help give you the strength to get through whatever you are dealing with today.
Be the center of my life.
Ive noticed a change. A change in the way things work out when we thrust all our worries, fears, anger, emotions, all of that on God. When we ask him what we should do… when we ask him what He wants us to do.
Think about it for a second. When you’re going through a hard time, and you try to deal with it yourself, how does it work out? Do you feel better the next day? Do you feel like things work out in the end?
Now think again, when you ask God for help, tell him how you fear, talk to him, and let him guide you… do things tend to work out?
God’s up 24/7 and he wants to talk to you! He wants to help you! He wants to be the center of your life, and help you out! He loves you, cares for you, and has an amazing plan for your life. So trust in Him.
